27. NEW STOMPING GROUND! JOCK HUDSON'S BIG BROTHER! OKI DOG (860 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046, USA)

They see me out on the street, They knew EXACTLY who i was as soon as i moved in (I featured on the cover of the free newspaper, Frontier Aviators, handout (Please click here to see more) They see me come and go, They see me at all hours looking more lost than ever! 

They see each time the ambulance is called! They told me they keep count! They now act like my big brother! These guys have got huge hearts and the best watchful eye on the neighbourhood.Yesterday the owner, "Jimmy" chased me all way down the street and round the block to get me to eat chicken soup he had specially made, it's not even on their menu, BUT IT WAS THE BEST SOUP EVER MADE! Thank you Jimmy.

They asked me to paint and do them a new menu board. Except we disagree on the colour. The Goodchip Lolli Pop that works there (Brendan) says its "Orange"...like pumpkin???? WRONG I say this place is not orange like any pumpkin ...it is the colour of "GOLD!" Pure "GOLD!" ...Hammered full gloss gold is the color i wanted to paint the entire whole place so people would see it is GOLDEN!

I decided to start stealing their chairs from out front, sneak them into my garage and I try to fix them up (new leather, vinyl and paint) and then I try sneak past Jimmy and put em back in place all fixed up! Its my way of saying thanks for all their help and I do not want money for anything I might do, but they keep trying to give it to me!...or should i say Jimmy keeps catching me and forcing me to accept his money! Chased me around the block again the other day! hehehe. LOL It has become a super fun game but I keep getting caught!

Some day i will repay Jimmy and his crew for looking out for me when my family was not around.

P.S. To the DIVA with the AMAZING BIG BLONDE HAIR & who has the DIVINE SINGING VOICE, who is part of their gang! A special "thank you" to you. I say thank you for the time you sat out front late at night singing... I honestly thought it was angel & it was beautiful to hear (sadly i'd been in a bad state that night, but I was able to hear your voice from my window as i lay on the floor unwell but you helped calmed me & make me feel better) Pure heaven!


Would you believe the week i moved into that block, the billboard above Oki Dog (right picture) was the poster to "Diary Wimpy Kid" which was me growing up. Picked on at school for having braces, being a girlie dancer & a figure skater & I even had a screechy voice as my voice didn't break due to a broken nose till almost 18 years old. Every element a kid at school gets picked on & bullied for. I had em all. Not just in my year but bulllied by the years under me. That is why i was so proud i had made it as a porn star... 

I was no longer that kid?

Everybody this place is beyond fun, Rock Stars & the food is great! 

 These Rock Stars had my back.... that is why this place in my eyes will never be orange.....

It will always be GOLDEN!!!

Yes this place is PURE GOLD!!!

Plus i always thought i would be living practically next door to them for i do not know how long coz i would do anything for those guys coz i know they would for me & i'd be super ready to fix them...oops i meant anything I did up again. LOL. SMILE. 

I could cry thinking about not living with them again like i did!

More information regarding Oki Dog: Would you believe Oki Dog in the 1970's when it first became world famous/class was infamous! THE place to hang out for Bikes, Punk Rockers, Rent-boys & full blown Rock Stars & known to the place by the police as they were always being called to the venue when things got too wild. Now a days it has come full circle & is more like a community center & safe haven for everyone especially if you live near by. Jimmy watches one lovely lady i know's daughter & even makes sure she gets off the school bus & across the road (Fairfax) safely & sets her up playing games inside the restaurant whilst she waits for her mum to come get her if she is running late getting home from work every day. 

Neighborhood watch??? Seriously you could not get better security if you live nearby because the owner (Jimmy) & his still rock star staff are their almost 24 hours a day & like i have written in this blog post do not miss a thing & are over protective of anyone who has the respect to understand how valuable they are now to the neighborhood. They do not miss a trick. Heck they even probably new how many tricks i was turning before i even turned them. hehehe. LOL. X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X. 

Never judge a book by its cover which a lot of people do when they see this establishment & have missed out the fun & great A GRADE certified food that they serve up! "Chop Chop"! GRIN :)
